New Field
So i thought id let everyone know about a field in Amsterdam, New York. here is the website.- www.highenergypaintball.com and of course every field has some type of forums.- http://highenergypaintball.com/forum/index.php This place is great, they have a really sweet setup with a 50 that you will have to see to believe. They also run scenarios every few months and have some props that are out of this world. So whether your a full out speedballer or a in the woods kinda baller you have to check this place out. I'm 100% you wont be disappointed.

I just want to add that this field was formerly Friendlyfire paintball and was in business for 6 years before I took over ownership.....I only decided to do this since I was a frequent player at Friendlyfire , and I wanted to keep the place going so many of the friends that I have made up there still had a place to play.......We are just getting started , but the improvements that I have made to the speedball field have made the field a top notch facility........The scenario field on the other hand is absolutly incredible and we are constantly adding structures and props to make our milsim scenario games as realistic as possible.....We have had some serious scenario teams show up at our field from as far away as Mass., and Ct., and the feedback I have gotten back from them has really blown me away.....We must be doing something right because they keep coming back with more and more guys......Anyway , I just wanted to give you a little history on how we got started and where we are headed in the future.......I am looking forward to meeting and playing alongside you guys , as upstate New York has the best paintball community anywhere.

Awesome Ed, and congrats on joining the few who give back to the sport for the love of it.... Great to see more fields and more opportunities, as I always say the players are the ones who benefit.

Ya know Tooch , its too bad more field owners dont approach the business the way APE, Myself, First Prize, and a few other local fields do......Instead of trying to compete against one another , Fields should be working together to try and bring new players to the sport as a whole .....When a local field goes out of business , its not like the players just start traveling an hour or so to play at another field once or twice a week........Many of these guys end up selling their equipment or let it collect dust because its no longer convenient for them to play anymore........If that field stays open , these same players will make the trip out to another field once in a while just for a change of scenery or to attend a special event at another field.....This is why I tell my players , not only do they need to support my field , but other respectable fields in the area as well......We need them to stay open so we all have great places to enjoy paintball.
